Brief description:

  • The Do Dham Yatra is a revered pilgrimage that takes devotees to Kedarnath and Badrinath, two of the most sacred Hindu shrines nestled in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand. This journey is a spiritual quest that not only connects pilgrims to their faith but also offers mesmerizing natural beauty along the way. Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, nestled at 11,755 feet amidst snow-capped peaks.

  • Pilgrims trek 16 km from Gaurikund or take a helicopter to reach this ancient temple, believed to be where Shiva blessed the Pandavas. Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, sits along the Alaknanda River and is part of the Char Dham circuit. Pilgrims visit the temple, the sacred Tapt Kund, and witness the stunning Neelkanth Peak. The Do Dham Yatra is a journey of devotion, endurance, and spiritual awakening, drawing seekers to the divine Himalayan landscapes.

  • DAY 1 : RISHIKESH TO GUPTKASHI.

    Pick up at Tapovan, RIshikesh -> Devprayag -> Srinagar -> Agastamuni -> Guptkashi.

    Morning 6-7 AM Pickup And proceed to Guptkashi. After reaching Guptkashi, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Rest of the day free to explore the Guptkashi town.

    Dinner and Overnight stay in Guptkashi hotel.

    DAY 2 : KEDARNATH TREK VIA GAURIKUND FROM GUPTKASHI ITINERARY.

    After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag , you have to take local conveyance for Gaurikund, which is the central base from where the trekking begins for the Kedarnath shrine.

    Treat your eyes during the trek by enjoying the stunning views around. Visit Shri Kedarnath Temple, perform Pooja and Darshan.

    Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

    DAY 3 : KEDARKNATH TO GUPTKASHI.

    The distance from Kedarnath to Sonprayag is 30 kilometers, and the estimated travel time is 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Guptkashi . Guptkashi is a town located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India.

    It is often used as a base for pilgrims visiting the Kedarnath Temple.

    Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. The day concludes with dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Guptkashi.

    DAY 4 : GUPTKASHI TO PIPAL KOTI

    The journey covers a distance of 121.5 kilometers (3 hours and 43 minutes).

    Enjoy scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Uttarakhand.

    Following breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pipal Koti, a location with its unique charm.

    Upon arrival in Pipal Koti, Check in at the hotel, relax, unwind, and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. Pipal Koti serves as a base for exploring the revered site of Shri Badrinath Ji.

    Spent night at the hotel in Pipal Koti, ensuring a comfortable and rejuvenating stay.

    DAY 5 : PIPAL KOTI -- BADRINATH -- PIPAL KOTI.

    After hearty meal, embark on a scenic drive to Badrinath which promises breathtaking views as you make your way to this significant pilgrimage site.

    Badrinath, a Char Dham site, is home to the sacred Badrinath Temple. Nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas along the Alaknanda River, it offers a serene spiritual experience.

    After Badrinath, visit Niti Mana village and Narsingh Temple in Joshimath before returning to Pipal Koti for an overnight stay.

    DAY 6 :JOSHIMATH / PIPAL KOTI TO RISHIKESH.

    This day you will be heading out to Rishikesh, also known as the 'Gateway to Garhwal Himalayas’.

    It is one of the holiest places for Hindus from where the River Ganges flows through. You can visit the ancient temples and attractions, namely Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Ram Jhulla, and Sivananda Ashram, tucked into the town.

    After a fulfilling exploration of Rishikesh, the journey culminates with a smooth transfer to the Tapovan, Rishikesh.

    2. Monsoon Season (July – Mid-September)

    • Not advised due to:

      • Landslides

      • Trek route becoming slippery/dangerous (especially Kedarnath)

    • Badrinath may still be accessible, but risky

    3. Autumn Season (Mid-September – Late October)

    4. Winter (November – March)

    • Shrines closed

    • Kedarnath becomes snowbound and inaccessible

    • Badrinath also closes for the season.

    • Full Payment of the trip cost must be made before the trip begins. Pending Payments may eventually lead to the Cancellation of the trip.

    • The IDs shall all be verified before boarding. No boarding shall be entertained without a valid Govt. ID.

    • The Transfer of the bookings is not permitted. Only the names mentioned at the time of confirmation shall be allowed to travel.

    • No refunds shall be made towards any inclusion(s) not availed by the Client. Travelers must take care of their luggage & belongings.

    • The management shall not be responsible for any damage or any missing items along the tour. The time of Departure is stated & fixed. All travelers must update their status with the Trip coordinator(s), & report at the pickup point 30 mins prior to the scheduled departure.

    • The Air Conditioning will be switched off in the hills. Also, during the trip, it shall be the Driver’s discretion to put off the AC as & when required, considering the travelers’ safety & ease of travel along uneven & dangerous routes.
